The RedeMob Consortium, responsible for the development of solutions and services for a high-quality, competitive public transport offering in the metropolitan region of Goiânia – covering 18 municipalities with a total population of 2.4 million – has renewed a contract with GIRO and is upgrading its HASTUS installation. RedeMob is also adding modules that will allow operators to optimize duties for maximum efficiency using GIRO’s software.

“RedeMob’s existing HASTUS installation has been providing good operating results,” said Leomar Avelino, RedeMob’s Managing Director. “With the upgrade and expansion of our GIRO system, we expect our processes to be optimized even further.”

“GIRO appreciates the strengthening of our cooperation with RedeMob that this contract renewal represents,” said Jefferson Arrivabene, GIRO’s HASTUS Representative in Brazil. “The RedeMob Consortium is recognized by other public transport operators as a leader in the use of technology. We are pleased that our HASTUS software is able to contribute to productivity gains for the RedeMob Consortium, and we look forward to continuing our successful collaboration with this upgrade and addition of modules.”
